5 MWp solar power plant in Kingersheim: turning a former landfill into clean, lasting energy

In June, Tryba Energy inaugurated its new solar plant in Kingersheim, in the Haut-Rhin region of Alsace. With 5 MWp installed, the project is a clear example of how solar can bring new life to neglected land—turning a constrained site into a reliable, long-term energy source. SigueSol supported the operation with a full solution, from foundation design to final module assembly.

Site specifics

The plant was built on a heavily polluted former landfill—an area unsuitable for most traditional uses. By relying on 791 engineered beam foundations, the structure was installed without disturbing the ground, ensuring safety, stability, and full respect for environmental constraints. The result is a strong example of smart land rehabilitation, where an unusable site finds a second life at the service of the energy transition.
