Solar panels at Smet Jet NV: optimized production from morning to evening

To support Smet Jet NV’s energy transition, a photovoltaic system was installed across the site’s rooftops. Designed to maximize production throughout the day, the setup combines an optimized technical configuration with equipment supplied by Ecostal Waregem, a specialist in reliable solar systems.

Site specifics

The installation uses an east–west orientation with a 12.5° tilt—a strategic choice to capture sunlight efficiently from morning to evening. This setup spreads production throughout the day, reduces peak loads, and improves overall energy performance.

Our role

For this project, Ecostal Waregem supplied all solar panels and inverters, ensuring a reliable, perfectly sized system. Ceratec handled the complete installation, supporting Smet Jet NV in its move toward greater energy autonomy. Continuous monitoring through the SmartLogger system helps lower the site’s environmental footprint while strengthening its daily energy performance.
