Ecostal Group takes a new step with Powercare, a joint venture dedicated to maintaining and optimising commercial photovoltaic and battery installations in Belgium. The idea comes from Alexis Stoffels, founder and General Manager of Powercare, and was built with Ecostal Group. For the installers who work with us, it is a new service to offer their clients: the care of their solar power plant, from start to finish.

After installation, performance

The European Union’s solar fleet passed 400 GW at the end of 2025 and supplied about 13% of its electricity that year, according to SolarPower Europe and Ember. After the race for installed megawatts, value now lies in how existing plants perform over twenty to thirty years: availability, yield, responsiveness, safety.

Europe has won the battle of solar installation.

The next one is about performance: making every plant produce at its best, for thirty years.

A team with field experience

Alexis Stoffels, founder and General Manager of Powercare, has more than twenty years’ experience in energy: “Industrial solar plants have multiplied over the past fifteen years. They now need care, and their value needs restoring.”

Arthur Falisse, Head of Operations & Maintenance, has worked in renewables since 2020, from designing B2B projects to heading a technical department covering operations and maintenance: “Building is only the beginning: an asset’s value lies in what you do with it next.”

Stéphane Dauvister, co-CEO of Ecostal Group, supports the project and opens doors through his network. Ecostal Group provides its support functions: marketing, finance, human resources, engineering and sales.

From Barchon

The Powercare team brings together remote monitoring, fast on-site intervention and committed service levels. Its ambition: to become Belgium’s reference in O&M for solar and batteries, then share this know-how in the countries where Ecostal Group operates. Every kilowatt-hour preserved counts.
